Chessmen was awarded the first prize in the Young European Photographer competition and is by far the best known and most controversial Dutch photographer.
Erwin Olaf is a master at attracting attention. His works include advertising commissions for Nokia, Microsoft, Levi's, Heineken, Diet Coke, and many others
He has received multiple awards for campaigns completed for Heineken, Diesel Dirty Denim, Nicorette and Lavazza Coffee and in 2008 he was awarded the Lucie Award for advertising photography in New York.
Classic, contemporary, fantasy, baroque, sour, ironic ... Many adjectives could be given to this brilliant artist; the best thing is to see his work and then judge.
